Barber Shop

Ilya Bolotowsky: In the Barber Shop, 1934

Today, after my walk in the “Mamsha”, I went to the Coop Barber shop for a haircut. All the workers there are from Turkey. They are very nice and courteous. For some reason they always call me “Ammi” (uncle), even the guy who’s my uncle’s age. The haircut was ok, not great, but ok. For 4 KD including tip, I can’t complain.
