I watched Amélie the other night and it’s a pretty good flick in a weird French way, but, the thing I can’t get over is the music. The title theme is hypnotic and Yann Tiersen is an absolute genius. The music kept ringing in my ears and in my car stereo for three days and I love it. Here are two versions of the same composition, one from the movie and the other recorded live with a full orchestra.

that's so weird. i saw it for the second time on the plane the day after eid and then continued it on wednesday night. i'm surprised you haven't seen it before! it's one of my faves :)
Hey Zules,
I first watched it a while back; unfortunately, it was on a regular TV which didn’t do it justice. I lost interest after about 15 minutes and stopped watching. Fast forward some 10 years later, throw in a Bluray disk player, a full HD projector and a DTS sound system and you got yourself a whole new experience. Seriously, this flick should only be watched in theaters (home or otherwise) to do it any justice. This is definitely one of the movies I would watch more than once. It’s a visual and aural feast that only a few can match.
Cheers
